Reputable Custom Home Builder

Don’t Take Our Word for It…

  • A renovated and restored large red barn with welcoming black modern doors and windows, a small tower on the left, and a gravel and brick pathway in front, under a clear blue sky.

    Tim Collins

I was very pleased with the performance of Howell Custom Building in all areas of the project: initial cost estimation, project management, and the quality of the work. They renovated 2 barns and built two new barns; one of which was a very big project, which included restoring a 1793 timber frame. They dealt with my numerous requests for small 'unique add-on work' professionally and pleasantly.

We worked with Howell in the extensive renovation and update of our Royal Barry Wills inspired home over a 2.5 year period. The team at Howell was highly recommended, yet still exceeded our expectations in all phases of redesign and renovation. Starting with thoughtful consultation throughout the design process leading into the detailed work by the contractors, the team at Howell was consistently professional, highly skilled and visionary in the re-immagination of our home.

    Claire's Perspective, Interior Designer

I had the pleasure of collaborating with Howell Custom Building Group on a recent project, and I couldn't be more impressed with their professionalism, expertise and commitment to excellence. As an interior designer, attention to detail and clear communication are critical, and they delivered on every front.

  • Exterior of a charming white traditional house with multiple gables, black roof, shingle siding, and a small porch with an inviting orange door, surrounded by trees, bushes, and a gravel driveway on a clear day.

    Hanna Marino

I credit working with Howell to renovate/ build our home with a level of ease that is uncommon for construction projects. They were organized, upfront, professional, and respectful. I get the sense that all the other subs and designers they worked with felt the same way, and this made for a very timely and smoother process, at least from my end! They worked very hard for us, and we love the beautiful home they built us.

  • Bright spacious custom kitchen with a unique oven hood, black clean countertops, white classic cabinets, large serene windows, and green peaceful outside view.

    Darby Scott

There isn't a day that we don't marvel at how beautiful the new kitchen is and each hour of the day brings changing light from both the kitchen and the extended entryway. We still have that, "pinch me is this ours or are we dreaming" kind of moment everyday.

  • A family gathering in a bright classic modern kitchen with a large inviting traditional island with beautiful elegant lighting.

    Amy F.

Howell does their work like an expert plays chess. They are constantly two steps ahead. They understand exactly who needs to be contacted - when and what needs to happen in what order. Because of that, all those people who have nightmare stories about renovations, I actually love the process! I was able to watch things come down to studs and rebuilt back up, and I never lost my stove and I never lost my sink.
